“Those People Do Not Deserve to be Elected”

From  Al-Siyasah website on 17 May
[Article by Ahmad al-Baghdadi: "Those People Do Not Deserve to be Elected"]
There is a group of candidates that does not deserve to enter parliament or represent the nation. They simply do not deserve it, because of their deceitful methods and their despicably fickle political activities. They include the ones who have yet to hesitate in supporting terrorism and terrorist activities, whether in Kuwait, in Iraq, or in other places. Some of those are ones who:
1-Have not condemned the terrorist operations carried out by Usamah Bin-Ladin and his gang of criminals.
2-Have not condemned the Kuwaiti terrorists who have killed innocent Saudis, Iraqis, and Kuwaitis.
3-Have no human compassion for the pain that terrorists cause to non-Muslims in the name of fighting the heretic Americans.
4-Have loyalties to foreign parties from which they derive religious and political support.
5-Have opposed women during the period that followed the liberation [of Kuwait], then opposed their rights in the parliament.
6-Have restricted means of harmless entertainment under the false pretence of religious piety.
7-Have not practiced what they preached in the name of religion and traditions, and commit in secret or while abroad the very things they preached against.
8-That are sycophants to influential people, allowing them any vice, but terrorize the weak and helpless.
9-Have used charity committee funds in their election campaigns.
10-Have not hesitated to accept illicit funds from newspapers and satellite channels, which are also illicitly funded.
11-Have contributed to the destruction of education; with their persistent pressuring of the ministry of education to turn the school curriculum into a religious one.
12-Have allowed criminals to evade their prison sentences simply by memorizing the Koran, which goes against God’s law since it is not even mentioned in religion; in addition to contradicting justice, which God has commanded.
13-Have always opposed human rights and never cared about the rights of foreign labour.
14-Have not made any moves against those who trade in residencies, in spite of being aware of and able to expose them and hold them accountable.
15-Have used their positions in the parliament for personal gains, such as those members of parliament who used their positions to undeservedly obtain exceptional pensions.
16-Have not hesitated to abuse the needs of the people in order to buy their votes.
All of those people do not deserve the honour of obtaining a seat in parliament and representing the nation. Do not give them the chance today to continue on their march to destroy Kuwait.

i think it would be fair to simply say “too late”

i think by far .. this will be the worst parliment ever..
im so afraid of all the new things that would happen now ..
to this country .. universities .. companies..
im very sure that theyre next step is to segregate all work sectors.
this is only of their simplest future plans!

ppl have voted to those who have called their kids (bastards) and accused them of being immoral and with no honour! theyre all back and on very comfy chairs .. really sad!

    thanks for the article.

*just a note:in point 12 .. u said “Koran” .. it should be Holy Quran.
